جائت معذبتي في غيهب الغسق
كأنها الكوكب الدري في الأفق
فقلت نورتني يا خير زائرة
أما خشيتي من الحراس في الطرق؟
فجاوبتني ودمع العين يسبقها
من يركب البحر لا يخشى من الغرق
